Julian is a founding Director of Mawson and brings over 20 years’ experience in high growth investments. A Chartered Accountant with a long-standing record of success, Julian specialises in financial strategy, commercialisation, corporate leadership and is a driver of business performance.
Julian works closely with business owners and leadership teams to help them navigate through complex commercial challenges and is renowned for an outcomes based approach. He has significant expertise across a number of industries, with specialised interests in construction, health, manufacturing and retail.
Julian is a director of a number of Mawson Investment companies and is a key advisor to the boards of a number of prominent healthcare, retail and manufacturing businesses.

Michael brings a wealth of experience and knowledge across both the corporate and private enterprise spheres. He specialises in business growth and transition management and is a registered Psychologist with a strong interest in organisational psychology.
Since 2013, Michael has led Mawson’s Growth team, working alongside business owners and management teams to implement strategies and navigate their companies through times of change and growth.
Michael has built an impressive track record of success delivering innovative commercialisation and business growth strategies for his clients, complemented by his wide-spread network of relationships and deep community ties.

Leading Mawson’s Restructures & Turnarounds team, Phillip has managed the successful restructure of some of Australia’s most iconic businesses.
A Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in consulting, management, strategy and transactional services. Philip has consulted to privately owned Australian businesses and held roles at Tier 1 accounting firms and ASX listed companies.
He has developed the necessary relationships with financiers, landlords, unions, professional firms and various large Australian businesses to assist his clients navigate their way through a restructure. Phillip retains deep relationships with his clients well after the conclusion of formal engagements.
Phillip has board advisory roles for a number of Mawson Investments.

Scott is a specialist in financial strategy, capital and turnarounds with almost a decade of corporate advisory experience. He is known for his ability to link strategy and finance to drive performance improvement initiatives.
Scott has a focus on advisory projects for companies with capital and profitability challenges. Key industry experience includes manufacturing, telecommunications, retail and logistics.
He recently completed a role on the board of Aussie Broadband prior to its successful listing on the ASX.
Since 2014, Scott has been a leader of Mawson’s Restructures & Turnarounds team, involved in its most successful corporate recoveries. Scott previously worked at one of Australia’s largest accounting firms in its financial advisory team. He is a registered Chartered Accountant and a graduate of Monash University (BComm – Finance and Accounting).

Gregory is a highly experienced property professional with 25 years of exposure in private, corporate and government in the property development and investment sector. His experience spans acquisition due diligence, finance, design, procurement and sales/leasing having been responsible for in excess of $20b of property development across Australia. Sector exposure traverses residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors specialising in precinct renewal.
Gregory has held CEO roles with Development Victoria, Places Victoria and Selpam Developments and National Development Director with Macquarie Bank. Gregory has a Masters in Project Management, is a qualified building surveyor and aircraft engineer and completed executive development programs at INSEAD in Paris and ANZOG in Singapore.
His breadth of hands-on experience across a number of Australia’s largest developments brings a skillset that delivers a complete service offering to our clients.

Matt Vitiello helps business owners by developing simple solutions for intricate financial and strategic challenges. Matt’s collaborative and outcomes-based approach fosters strong relationships with his clients and external stakeholders while ensuring fair and successful outcomes are achieved.
Matt is a registered Chartered Accountant with a Tier 1 accounting firm background. His industry focus spans retail, manufacturing, food, sport and recreation and not-for-profit organisations.
Matt is passionate about contributing to the development of young business professionals in Melbourne and acts as a mentor at Monash University, KPMG, and high-school Alumni programs.

Andrew Green is a Senior Advisor at Mawson; his work is characterized by a rigorous, detail-oriented approach, which ensures that his clients can make the right decision, backed by evidence and data. Andrew helps his clients focus on creating more value in their business by enhancing their reporting, accountability, and use of Business Intelligence (BI) on the details that matter.
Andrew’s career involves working with small and medium businesses in their growth phase. This has cultivated a strong analytical acumen and a passion for evidence-based decision-making. Andrew has helped businesses in the construction, manufacturing, IT, and wholesale distribution sectors.
Andrew comes from a family of small business owners and is actively involved in his brother’s construction business as a part-time CFO.

Harry Davis has a track record of success working closely with his clients to help them grow and/or navigate them through financial difficulties. Harry specialises in providing capital, strategy, and management expertise solutions.
Harry has several years of commercial tax and accounting experience in a mid-tier accounting firm before joining Mawson He is a registered Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Economics and Finance) from Deakin University.
Harry is also a proud community ambassador of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, for whom he has raised over $150,000 by founding and facilitating an annual fundraising event. He is also a registered Mental Health First Aid provider, piloting his football club’s first Mental Health Support Fund and being recognised by an Australia Day Community Award.

Lachlan was part of the original Mawson team and brings over 30 years’ experience across a broad range of public accounting firms, large corporates, start-up businesses, and CFO consulting. A Chartered Accountant who takes on whatever challenges the business and clients present, Lachlan specialises in structuring, reporting, finance team mentoring, and investor relations.
As Mawson’s CFO, Lachlan is responsible for the finance function, assists with deal structuring, and is involved in investor relations. He holds the team accountable for performance and provides a sounding board for the leadership team.

Kara is Operations Manager at Mawson; having been a part of the team since 2016. Kara works closely with the Mawson Directors on the strategic direction and business development initiatives of the organisation while managing the marketing and brand strategy.
Prior to joining Mawson, Kara spent over 10 years working in high-level support roles at top-tier law firms in the United Arab Emirates, London, and Australia, where she developed a strong eye for detail and interest in ensuring organisations are optimising efficiencies and productivity.
Kara willingly takes on any challenge she’s presented and independently drives a number of internal projects focusing on continually exploring new technologies to optimise efficiencies and enhance the productivity of the team.
